This document presents the terms and conditions of the tour operators and of the Mariage Sud and Voyage Fiesta Travel Agency, as well as the travel requirements of the Canadian authorities. This applies to all clients wishing to book with the Mariage-Sud.com travel agency. Please carefully review clauses 1 to 14. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us at 1-844-Je-Le-Veux (1-844-535-3838).
Contract, terms and travel requirements for guests of a group with Mariage Sud / Voyage Fiesta — form 001-554. Read the document carefully.
1. Cancellation
1.1. In the event of a cancellation 61 days or more before departure: applicable deposit 100% non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of a late payment, the agency must cancel the passenger in default of payment, with loss of deposit and without notice. In the event of the cancellation of a passenger in a double occupancy room or more, the remaining occupants will have to pay the applicable difference at the time of cancellation. See clause 2.
1.2. In the event of a cancellation 60 days or less before departure: total amount on file 100% non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of the cancellation of a passenger in a double occupancy room or more, the remaining occupants will have to pay the applicable difference at the time of cancellation.
1.3. In the event that the future bride and groom must cancel their trip, no refund will be applied by our suppliers. Guests will still be able to travel on the reserved dates. Please check with your insurance companies. If the group no longer has a minimum of 10 adult passengers, your advisor will make a request to the supplier to validate the applicable rate.
1.4. No refund will be made for the Zika Virus or any other virus, weather conditions or force majeure except following a notice from your tour operator and supplier and/or the Canadian government.
2. Name Change
2.1. Name changes are permitted up to 22 days or more before departure subject to a supplier fee and administrative fees, except if the hotel is subject to a sales moratorium (stop sale), in which case no name change will be permitted. See the table in clause 14.
2.2. No name change is permitted 21 days or less before departure.
2.3. Only one name change is possible for a double occupancy room unless the hotel is subject to a sales moratorium (stop sale). Subject to a supplier fee and administrative fee. No name change is possible for a single occupancy room.
2.4. For a name change to be accepted, only the addition of a new passenger is permitted, not an existing passenger in the group file.
3. Non-Guaranteed Requests
All requests concerning rooms are non-guaranteed requests and are subject to hotel availability. They will be forwarded by your travel advisor but will only be confirmed upon your arrival at the hotel. We are in no way responsible for requests that are not obtained.
4. Virus
4.1. It is your responsibility to review the advice and recommendations regarding your health outside the country. Please inquire about vaccines, infections and diseases in the countries visited at a travel health clinic in your area and/or consult the Government of Canada website: voyage.gc.ca
5. Insurance
5.1. No insurance is included in travel packages. It is your responsibility to purchase insurance and inquire with your advisor, your credit card company or your private insurance provider.
5.2. Emergency medical insurance at destination is strongly recommended and covers you in the event of an emergency. Not having medical insurance can cost you a great deal.
5.3. Emergency medical insurance may be purchased up to a maximum of 48 hours before your departure.
5.4. Cancellation / interruption insurance from the tour operator or travel supplier must be purchased at the time of your initial reservation according to the tour operator’s terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to notify us if you wish to add insurance.
5.5. Cancellation / interruption insurance from our partners (Manulife / Blue Cross) must be purchased no later than 72 hours after making your initial reservation. It is your responsibility to notify us if you wish to add insurance.
6. Flight Schedule
Flight schedules are subject to change at any time by the tour operator. It is the passenger’s responsibility to confirm their flight 3 hours before departure with the carrier. At any time, the carrier may add a stopover, change the day of departure and operate its flight with another airline. Please refer to the website of your departure airport.
7. Travel Documents (Passports, Visas and Others)
7.1. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that the names appearing on their passport are identical to those provided to their advisor. Fees for a name adjustment or correction apply, subject to supplier and administrative fees.
7.2. It is the passenger’s responsibility to inquire about the validity of their passport in relation to the destination and the date of their return to the country.
7.3. For all passengers who do not have a Canadian passport, it is their responsibility to inquire with their government institution whether a visa other than the one offered to Canadians is required to enter the destination.
7.4. For all passengers with a criminal record, it is your responsibility to inquire to ensure that you are able to travel, and this before making your reservation.
8. Taxes and Security Deposit
8.1. If you are travelling to Mexico, a sanitation tax per room will be charged upon your arrival at the hotel (Cancun and Tulum airports).
8.2. It is possible that upon your arrival at the hotel, a credit card will be requested for a mandatory security deposit.
9. Room Upgrade
9.1. The room category on the contract is the category chosen by the bride and groom. It is possible to obtain a room upgrade upon request and subject to availability. Your request will be processed by the supplier’s group department in order to validate the rate. A response delay applies.
9.2. All requests and changes made after the initial reservation generate supplier and administrative fees.
10. Child
For all information concerning conditions and baggage when travelling with children, please consult your tour operator’s website. A child 2 years old and under does not have a seat and must sit on one of the parents’ laps. No checked baggage is included. A tax will be charged by the tour operator for your child 2 years old and under.
If you are travelling with Air Transat, register your child aged 2 and over for the Transat Kids Club.
11. Seat Selection
11.1. Group seat selection may be offered free of charge if the group qualifies for the tour operator’s current promotion. This consists of a block of standard seats around the wing area and beyond, with no possibility of selecting your seats in advance. It is a random selection with no changes possible. This selection will be made 3 to 4 weeks before your departure. Your seats will appear on your travel documents.
11.2. It is possible to make an advance seat selection. Please note that fees apply for seat selection. Ask your advisor about the different tour operator fees.
12. Payment Method and Payment Date
12.1. In the event of a late payment, the agency may cancel the passenger in default of payment, without notice, if the date indicated on the invoice is not respected.
12.2. For cash payments, we must receive the cash at our offices. Please make an appointment with your advisor and allow 3 business days before the date of your payment. Otherwise, an Interac transfer, bank transfer or credit card will be required.
12.3. For monthly payments, please provide us with your payment schedule at the time of your request. An administrative fee of $50 will be charged. If payments are declined, an administrative fee of $25 will be charged for each attempt. It is your responsibility to have the necessary funds available for the payment.
12.5. For all requests to change a credit card with reimbursement, an administrative fee of $25 will be charged.
12.6. For all declined payments, an administrative fee of $25 will be charged per attempt. It is important to respect the payment dates indicated.
12.7. For all late payments, an administrative fee of $25 will be charged per day. It is important to respect the payment dates indicated.
12.8. Travel financing: you must have submitted your request at least 3 business days before the indicated date.
13. Price Reduction
13.1. A one-time price reduction may be offered by the tour operator or travel supplier according to their conditions; the room inventory and number of seats available must be identical to your initial contract at the time of booking. To obtain the price reduction, the supplier must be able to make a new reservation respecting the number of rooms, number of seats and room category as per the initial reservation. If one of the criteria is not available, the price reduction will be refused.
13.2. Upon request, we will make only one price adjustment for the group, no later than 90 days before departure, with the same supplier, same room category, same departure date, same departure airport and same hotel as reserved in the contract.
13.3. The price reduction is accepted or refused solely by the bride and groom. Therefore, you are bound by their decision. If you do not agree, please notify the bride and groom.
13.4. A price reduction is not applicable to promotional group rooms (Deal of the day, Supersaver and others), nor to rooms added in excess after the release of seats.
14. General Conditions
14.1. Mariage-Sud.com undertakes to respect the privacy of its clients and not to sell to any companies either the names of its clients or other personal information. However, Mariage-Sud.com must obtain certain personal information in order to make your reservation.
14.2. Mariage-Sud.com is not responsible if a virus or any other damage could affect your computer while using its website.
14.3. Mariage-Sud.com reserves the right to modify the conditions of its website at any time. It has the right to change and modify the terms and conditions published on the website.
15. Social Media
Mariage-Sud.com and voyagefiesta.com require respect and request non-disparagement on social media or on the Internet. The Mariage Sud and Voyage Fiesta Travel Agency does not tolerate malicious comments against its company and its advisors on all types of existing social media networks.

By checking the YES box on the GUEST FORM, I have read / we have read form 001-554. I accept / we accept the conditions stated above.
